A View From The Bridge Bronx Theatre reviews
What an amazing show! The show they gave us was no different from the show at Madison Square Gardens, it felt like I had all to myself A View From The Bridge. Great crowd, too. I don't think this band gets off that way; and I think she was missing something crucial about how meticulously detailed their music is. It was the first time I've been to a concert like this where people weren't yelling stupid shit or screaming inappropriately during quiet or delicate moments. I overheard one woman in the bathroom telling her friend how disappointed she was at the lack of "energy" and disgusted that the crowd was not reciprocating with enough of it. Although much of their music does have heavy rhythms and rock appeal, to be jumping around and screaming like you would at a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert would mean missing too many components that make this live show and their music interesting and unique. I can't wait to see them again, and I would hope the crowd is just as respectful.
